What news pages contain

News opens on separate MerMiko pages, with the event description, practical context, available source details, links and a timeline. Short source excerpts are labelled, and community reporting is distinguished from provider announcements.

Reading the dates

An event date is not automatically an article publication date. Times require a timestamp with a known timezone. When a source gives only a day or month, that precision is retained. MerMiko publication has its own timestamp, which is not reset by another scan.

Automatic updates

The scanner follows the schedule shown above the feed. New material may await a complete PL/EN brief. Metadata fetching is bounded and cached; visitors do not trigger a fresh source crawl.

Sources and documentation

Source links are retained for checking dates, availability and original context.
