How MerMiko news and guides are published

Sources, automated news briefs, language versions and corrections.

Sources and selection

We check public RSS feeds and APIs from software publishers, project teams and selected community sources. A successful scan can find no new relevant event. Source dates are preserved; checking a feed again does not make an old publication new.

A source statement is not independent verification

“Source announcement” identifies a statement published by a provider or project team. It is not a guarantee of every claim in that statement. Community material is labeled separately and may describe unconfirmed circumstances. Additional practical context is separated from the account of the event.

Local articles and original materials

News opens on a MerMiko page containing a brief, identified facts, practical context and source links. It does not republish the full source article or replace release documentation. Guides are a separate library; they are not automatically presented as breaking news.

PL/EN and automated processing

Public source text may be sent to MyMemory for translation. No reader account data, chat messages or private server files are used in that translation. Proper names and code identifiers remain unchanged. A news card is published only when both language versions are ready. Translation failures keep the previous published material available rather than filling Polish pages with English text.

Corrections and contact

To report an incorrect date, translation or source, email [email protected] and include the article link. Published and updated dates have separate meanings. Code examples use sample addresses and values; adapt them and test before using them in a production environment.

Sources and documentation

Source links are retained for checking dates, availability and original context.
